CHENE PRINSLOO

/

I was raised by a lady with a big heart.

My mom and I share gifting as a love language. For the biggest part of her life, she was, and still is a giver, a motivator, and an empath. From young I experienced the warm fuzzy feeling of putting a smile on somebody’s face

I love people and chose this profession as a way of serving my community.

I truly believe that this is my God-given purpose.

I’ve always loved a good challenge, one of the reasons I chose this degree after a silly teacher told me I could never do it. I trained at TUKS in Pretoria. I started working in 2000.

I’m so greatfull that my stubborn nature brought me to this amazing career. For most of my career I worked in practises where hospital work and outpatient treatments were offered.

I was blessed with working for a variety of different types of specialists ranging from General surgeons, Gynaecologists, Physicians, Oncologist, Orthopaedic surgeons, and Plastic surgeons. By doing that I gained experience in treating a broad field of diagnosis

In October 2017 I took a big leap of faith to start my own practise. My husband has always been my biggest supporter with the kids, now in their teens, joining in.

I could never see a patient as just a shoulder or knee… If you love people, you are in tune to not only their physical needs, but obviously the emotional side as well. Empowering patients with knowledge about their injury and how to manage it, is very rewarding.

I particularly love treating Patients suffering with a Neck spasm or Headache as well as doing Post op rehabilitation.

I am passionate about helping people to use their bodies optimally, allowing for better quality of  life both now and in the future.

Elaine joined the practice in March of 2020. This grounded, grateful and good-hearted mother of three teenagers, is eager to assist and fulfill the needs of both the therapists and their clients.

Being a marshmallow Easter egg junky, she understands the importance of a good cup of coffee (she would NEVER suffer through a cup of instant) - thereby ensuring smooth running of both the back and front office. She is committed, extremely reliable, skilled and eager to apply her positive energy in fulfilling her duties.

Her efficiency, dosed with an acute sense of humor, guarantees an experience that will lay the foundation for building longterm relationships.

Chené is a young lady with a caring and compassionate heart, who believes it is important to always give your best to those around you and to help wherever you can.

There is a Greek word “Meraki”, that she strongly correlates with; it means to put a piece of yourself, your heart, and your creativity into your work. She feels it so perfectly ties in with her chosen profession as she believe we, as Physiotherapists, can make such a big impact on our patients’ lives.
